The connection between man and nature has dominated much of my work over the past few years.  In CROSSING the line I explore this theme further, delving deeper into this ever shifting relationship.

I find the way we interact with nature both fascinating and surreal.  My work features many familiar and beautiful animals and birds, often juxtaposed with windows or doors - thresholds into our man-made world.

So often we try to control nature, to keep it where we want it - this makes us feel safe and comfortable. But, when nature crosses unexpectedly into our world it can feel confronting. Whether this experience is confronting or inspiring it can dramatically change the way we perceive the natural world and how we see our ourselves.
