What is a Giclèe
Print?
Giclee (prounced jee-clay) literally means fine spray. This cutting
edge printing technology propells mircoscopic droplets of ink onto the
paper. The spray is so fine that it is comparable to film. The longevity
of this type of printing is extremely high and, unlike conventional
printing methods, is rated at much more than 100 years.
Each quality limited edition print is hand-produced by Giclèe
Australia in close consultation with the artist using the award-winning
Roland Hi Fi Jet Printer. This revolutionary printer
uses micro piezo heads and long life pigment inks rather than dyes and
each print is produced on the finest archival art paper.
Each closed limited edition print is proofed
by the artist and hand-signed and numbered.
