Small Watercolours

Here’s a selection of small watercolours - they are mostly landscapes, all of them taken directly from my own observations during my travels. Most were started in a teaching situation; not all watercolours work but it’s always obvious to me which ones have potential and I’ll work on those afterwards and spend time finishing them. The changes may be small but at other times I develop the painting in a completely different direction. I really enjoy the challenge and spontaneity that happens as a result.
